Hapoel Kfar Saba: Going to a training camp

Hapoel Kfar Saba will start today (Sunday) the training camp we announced last week, as part of which the players will spend the night in Raanana and hold training at the home Levita Stadium. The team will be missing Yahav Afriat, who has not yet signed a new contract and will not go to camp, while Itamar Israeli, who was injured in the quadriceps muscle, will be examined tomorrow and then the severity of his condition will become clear.

During the camp, Kfar Saba will hold its last preparatory game of the season, on Tuesday against Bnei Sakhnin, ahead of the opening of the Toto Cup games on Saturday against Maccabi Netanya.

Prior to leaving the camp, the coach said Amir Turgeman: We go to a short and unusual camp because of the situation we are in and the ban on traveling to the camp abroad. The main goal is formation between the players, the team and better acquaintance between all the factors. At the same time, we will increase the pace of training to be more intense. We will work on concentrating and refining the goals for the coming season and we will want to continue the end of last season. ”

Regarding the squad of players going out to the camp and the reinforcement that is yet to come, the coach added: “The whole system is working very hard on strengthening. Both in the Israeli sector and in the foreign sector. We will not bring in players for the purpose of condensing the staff, but only to upgrade it. ”
