Hapoel Holon completed its foreign squad today (Saturday) with the signing of forward Isaiah Miles for the upcoming season. Miles (26, 2.03) joins Chris Johnson, CJ Harris and Tyros McGee, who will also play in the purple-yellow ranks, who also brought back Richard Howell and extended the contracts of Yogev Ohayon and Uriel Trotsky.
Miles, a graduate of St. Joseph’s College, scored 18.1 points in his final season in college and averaged 5.8 rebounds per game. He started his professional career in the French Dijon and later moved to the Turkish Oshak Sportif, returned to France in favor of Limoges and last February joined Shula, but did not have time to play in it due to the Corona crisis.
The team’s coach, Stefanos Dadas, welcomed the signing: “Miles is a player in position 4 with good shooting from the outside, which is great in the current era. He had three good years in Europe and he comes to us from a less than good season, in which he tried to get a contract in the NBA and failed. From my conversation with him, he sounded very hungry to play in Holon. He is a player who will make profits for other players with his shooting and will be very important in our team. ”
