Going to Greece on holiday? Then you need a negative corona test


Passengers on flights from the Netherlands to Greece must demonstrate that they are not infected with corona from Monday 17 August after arrival. The statement may not be older than 72 hours. The obligation also applies to those arriving by land.

The rule will also apply to travelers from Belgium, the Czech Republic, Spain and Sweden.

Record number of new infections

Greece Until recently, was relatively spared by the global corona outbreak, but a record number of 203 new infections was registered in the southern European country on Sunday. The government in Athens now wants to prevent an import of the virus by tourists, among others.
