From the figures of Sadigura: the late Rabbi Zvi Halevi


The late Rabbi Zvi Halevi, the author of the prayer in the courtyard of Sadigura Chassidut and one of the most important figures in the court of Chassidut, died after contracting the virus and is 65 years old.

Three weeks ago, he contracted the coronary virus and after it was completely preserved, he was hospitalized in a serious condition with no background diseases at all. Many prayed for the healing of Zvi ben Esther but the decree was issued and he returned his soul to its creator.

The late deceased was an important and respected follower of Sadigura and served as the Gabay of the aliyahs in the Beit Midrash of the Hasidim and even served as a prayer leader for the Rebbe during the High Holidays.

He was connected in heart and soul to the Rebbe with the “Knights’ Heels” from Sadigura and to his son the Rebbe Shlita.

The late Rabbi Zvi was born to his parents, Rabbi Mordechai Menachem Halevi Sheikhi, and his mother, Mrs. Esther Gittel, Shechi.

For his livelihood he ran a fish shop for many years and traded extensively in the fish trade. In recent years he has dealt in diamonds.

The Hasidim tell Behadrei Haredim about a dear and wonderful man who was devoted to him. And was known as having a prayer in his special voice when he honored God from his throat.

Was attached and attached in heart and soul to the Rebbe of the Knesset Mordechai from Sadigua who was his matchmaker.

He would also sit and study every Saturday night after prayer in the book ‘Knesset Mordechai’.
