Fourth foreigner: James Banks signed with Hapoel BS

Hapoel B’Shlosha is getting stronger. The team from the Negev capital announced tonight (Saturday) the signing of 22-year-old chin, James Banks. The American will be the team’s fourth foreigner and will join Rakim Sanders, Amir Bell and Caleb Agada.

Banks, who rises to a height of 2.07 meters, is a graduate of Georgia Tech College and goes to Europe for the first time when last season in college he averaged 9.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game and was selected for two years in a row for the ACC defense team. In 2016, Banks was included in the US Under-18 team and won gold with her at the American Championships.

Tomer Yaron, the club’s general manager, said: “I am very happy that we were able to sign James, a young player with great potential who will add us a presence in color and adapt to our method of play, we wish him success.”
