After the decision of the Pro League on Friday to play with eighteen clubs in 1A next season, a completely new calendar had to be drawn up a week before the competition started. The Pro League will announce it later at 6 pm, but in the meantime some posters from the first day of play have already leaked.
The newspapaer know the season as will be kicked off on August 8. On that day Antwerp plays at home against Mouscron. On August 9, KV Mechelen-Anderlecht will follow. Newcomer Beerschot has to work on Monday. It will be relocated to Ostend on 10 August.
There is still a question mark behind that first game. In Antwerp there is still a ban on team sports, so Antwerp is not allowed to play in its own stadium. The Pro League tries to obtain an exception from expert group Celeval, but has not yet received a positive answer.
