A group of Ajax supporters must be present in the Johan Cruijff ArenA next Thursday between 5.15 and 5.30 p.m. AT5. For the practice game between Ajax and FC Utrecht (6.45 p.m.), all kinds of measures have been taken regarding the corona virus.
One of those measures is a time slot. Supporters who have bought a ticket will see a 15-minute time slot on their admission ticket within which they must enter the stadium. The first fans must enter between 5.15 and 5.30 pm. After the game, the fans are let out row by row. ‘Add to that a predicted temperature of about 31 degrees and you end up with a hot evening,’ writes AT5.
A total of 4,500 spectators are welcome and they have to keep a constant distance of 1.5 meters in the stadium. There are therefore five empty seats between each assigned seat. People from the same household are also not allowed to sit next to each other. Moreover, it is not allowed to sing, shout and cheer in the stadium.
Measures have also been taken in the Johan Cruijff ArenA with regard to catering. You can buy a drink and a snack upon arrival. The kiosks are closed during the match, although fans can buy something from the mobile sellers walking around in the stands.
