About 20,000 protesters protested in Berlin on Saturday for finding the corona measures taken by the German government to violate their personal freedoms. The protesters criticized, among other things, the regulations about the use of mouth masks.

The event normally had to be wound up at the Brandenburg Gate, but many participants did not want to leave at the end of the protest march. The police then dissolved the demonstration themselves. That decision was also made because the safety regulations were not observed. Many protesters present did not wear a mask or did not follow the social distance guidelines.

The Berlin police had previously stated that the organizer of the protest march must account for the corruption rules being broken. He may be prosecuted. The German government also criticized the behavior of the protesters.
