11:18 – Tyronne Ebuehi (on archive image for ADO The Hague) will soon return to the Eredivisie. FC Twente almost has the 24-year-old right back in. The Benfica player, who previously made an impression at ADO Den Haag, is currently in talks with Twente to finalize the deal.
That reports RTV East. It is not clear in the reporting whether it concerns rent or purchase. The Nigerian international from Haarlem still has a three-year contract in Portugal. Presumably that is why it is a rental deal. Ebuehi earned a nice move to Benfica two years ago. However, it remained silent since then. He played less than a minute in the former. A torn left cruciate ligament was especially troublesome.
Ebuehi hopes for better times in Enschede. Next season he will have to compete with Nathan Markelo, who will be hired from Everton this season.
