Dutch football tragedy: The Den Haag team announced last night (Thursday) that the Chinese youth team player Kieran Wang was killed in a tragic accident at the age of 15. The club decided not to elaborate on the cause of death, but a few hours later the Telegraph announced what led to the fatal accident.
According to the Dutch newspaper, the young footballer spent time with his two friends at the beach and was swept away with them due to an unexpected current. Two of his friends were rescued, but Wang was not found despite intensive searches that continued on Fridays and Saturdays. On Sunday morning the Meital found the body of the young footballer.
CEO of The Hague Muhammad Hamadi: “We were scared to hear the dramatic report that our Wang was missing. He was a very friendly and well-liked boy. It’s horrible and has hit us all hard. Our thoughts are on the family, friends, and actors who played alongside him. Needless to say, The Hague will do everything in its power to provide them with our support. We, of course, respected the family’s explicit desire to wait a few days before the news was published. ”
