Dumfries passes ‘certain point’ at PSV training camp: ‘That requires discipline’

Denzel Dumfries has a good feeling about PSV’s training camp in Marienfeld, Germany. The positive energy is back in the Eindhoven team, according to the captain.

Dumfries senses eagerness at PSV, which has recently been led by German trainer Roger Schmidt. “Everyone has the will to show themselves,” he says PSV TV. “It’s just good. This is a new start and I feel the positive energy in everyone – and we radiate it.”

PSV concluded the training week last weekend with two practice wins over SC Verl (3-0) and KFC Uerdingen (3-0). Dumfries: “That is very important. Two games, two days in a row … You notice that you are getting tired. Then you have to get over a certain point and that requires discipline. But it is good to get over that point. to go.”

Dumfries only kicked off PSV on Saturday against Verl. On Sunday, he was replaced in the starting eleven by occasional right back Dante Rigo.
