Police officers arrested a driver of an electric partial scooter yesterday after it was discovered that he was driving around with someone else’s hacked account. The actual user did not know that the account was being driven.
The police decided to maintain a major control yesterday, as reports of abuse of hacked part-scooter accounts have been received recently. A total of 32 partial scooter drivers were checked around Central Station. It hit one of those scooters.
Ignore stop sign
In addition to driving with a hacked account, the driver turned out not to have a driving license. He ignored a stop sign and carried a stolen ID. The driver was arrested and the partial scooter on which he drove was seized.
Agents also checked 21 regular scooters. 19 fines were issued for driving without or with an expired driving license, driving without a helmet and holding a telephone.
