Today (Thursday), members of the Civil Administration’s inspection unit, in cooperation with the Jericho Coordination and Liaison Office and accompanied by IDF 417 forces, led an extensive enforcement operation against three illegally built water reservoirs in the Giftlik area of Jericho.

The three water reservoirs were built illegally, and even in one of the water reservoirs a pirate connection was found through which drinking water was stolen. The operation took place as part of the fight led by the Civil Administration against pirated water connections, which are being discovered throughout Judea and Samaria.

The director of the control unit in the Civil Administration, Marco Ben Shabbat: “This is a destructive phenomenon that affects the residents of the entire area as well as the agricultural crops in the area, and therefore the Civil Administration works tirelessly to eradicate as much as possible water theft throughout Judea and Samaria. In order to prevent further offenses of this type – for the benefit of the residents of the area. ”
