Brobbey tests negative for coronavirus

Brian Brobbey tested negative for the coronavirus. The striker was missing on Saturday pending the result of his corona test in the match selection of Jong Ajax for the exhibition game with Almere City, but does not appear to be infected with the virus.

In any case, Brobbey had no symptoms indicating that he had contracted the coronavirus. The eighteen-year-old attacker feels completely well, but will not immediately resume group training next week. From Saturday, August 8, Brobbey will join the group again.

Without Brobbey, Jong Ajax lost the first exhibition game of the new season on Saturday. When visiting Almere City, the team of trainer Mitchell van der Gaag lost 2-0. Besides Brobbey Naci Ünüvar was also missing at Jong Ajax. The technician is struggling with groin complaints.
