A British MP and former minister was arrested on Saturday after being charged with rape, among other things. That reports the British newspaper The Sunday Times.
The name of the Member of Parliament has not been disclosed. It has been announced that it is a man in his fifties, who is a member of the Conservative Party of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
The MP is accused by a woman in her twenties of rape, sexual assault and compulsive control. He was released on bail on Saturday evening. He must report again in mid-August.
The woman is said to be a former member of parliament. After being forced to have sex, she should have gone to the hospital.
London police report that it was notified on Friday of four different incidents that allegedly occurred between July 2019 and January 2020, when the two were in a relationship. An investigation has been launched.
