Brawl on board of KLM aircraft for mouth mask

A major brawl broke out on board a KLM aircraft last week. Two drunk passengers refused to wear a face mask, which sparked a fight and brawl. Images of that brawl have been put online. That reports the Dutch local news channel AT5.

The images show how striking blows are dealt in the cabin of the aircraft. A bare-chested passenger seems to be the source of all disturbances. He does not wear a mouth mask, where it is mandatory on KLM flights.

Two men were arrested for not wearing mouth masks and the verbal and physical harassment of fellow passengers on a KLM flight from Schiphol to Ibiza on Friday. This is confirmed by a KLM spokesperson on Sunday afternoon. He says that the arrested men are not Dutch and were on the flight KL1495 under the influence of alcohol on the plane.

They were restrained on the plane by order of the captain. “Passengers helped with this,” said the KLM spokesman. “After landing in Ibiza, the Spanish authorities arrested the two men.”

No people were injured in the incident.
