Peter Bosz hopes to become national coach of the Dutch national team in the future. For the 56-year-old coach of Bayer Leverkusen, that is the highest possible.

“Becoming a national coach is the highest that can be achieved in the Netherlands. It would be great if it came to that. If not, it would be the case,” Bosz told the news agency. DPA, quoted by the ANP. He states that his name was mentioned in Zeist before Ronald Koeman was appointed. “But then I was still under contract with Borussia Dortmund. Football is all about timing. I read that J├╝rgen Klopp was not available when Bayern Munich wanted to get him. But that does not mean that Bayern did not want him.”

Bosz is currently working for Bayer Leverkusen, after previously managing Vitesse and Ajax. “I don’t know how long I will remain a trainer. Maybe three more years. But it could just be another eight years. I can’t imagine that I’m still on the field at the age of 72, like Dick Advocaat. I’m doing it as long as I enjoy it. But you are often separated from your family. I want to spend a few more good years with the family. ”
