Bisnummer for Jordi Meeus in the Czech Republic: Belgian also wins stage 3 in sprint | Cycling


Jordi Meeus has struck again in the Tour of the Czech Republic. The Belgian sprinter of SEG Racing Academy also won stage 3 in a bunch sprint after stage 2.

On Friday, Meeus had trumped Belgian champion Tim Merlier in the bunch sprint. In the 3rd stage, 206 kilometers between Olomouc and Frydek-Mistek, Meeus beat the German Max Kanter and the Est Martin Laas in the sprint.

Kenneth Van Rooy and Amaury Capiot, both Sport Vlaanderen-Baloise, finished fourth and fifth. Sean De Bie (Bingoal-Wallonie Bruxelles) finished seventh. For Jordi Meeus it is his third pro victory. In 2018 he was the best in the Gooikse Pijl.
