Belgium issues orange travel advice for three Dutch provinces NOW

The Belgian cabinet has changed the travel advice for the Dutch provinces of North Holland, South Holland and Zeeland from green to orange on Saturday.

The orange code means that “increased vigilance” must be observed by Belgians traveling to the Netherlands.

Belgians who have recently visited the three provinces mentioned are urgently advised to have themselves tested when they return and to quarantine for two weeks as a precaution.

The changed travel advice can be seen on the website of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The overview also shows that parts of France, Spain and Switzerland have even received red travel advice.

Earlier this week, the Netherlands gave orange advice to Antwerp, due to the increased number of corona infections in the Belgian province.
