Sharing files on an Apple phone is easy via AirDrop. This is sometimes a bit more difficult for Android users. Google is now ending that by releasing a universal AirDrop-like feature that should make sharing files (such as photos, videos, and text) between Android phones a lot easier. This is announced by Google in a blog post. The new feature will be called ‘Nearby Share’ and will be rolled out in the coming weeks for all devices with operating system Android 6 or higher. The AirDrop-like function will work via a Bluetooth or WiFi connection and will also be available for Chromebooks. (Source: XGN)
