Anderlecht has not been able to finish its preparation on a positive note. On Saturday-morning, the B-team beat RWDM 2-1, but in the afternoon the A-team was unable to win. Against Lille, fourth in Ligue 1 last season, it went down 2-0 after four crazy minutes.
Franky Vercauteren’s choices already gave some solid indications for the team that will start the competition next weekend. In the back, Luckassen and Cobbaut formed the central duo, with Sardella on the left back. Sambi Lokonga took his place in midfield again, while Antoine Colassin was preferred in the front.
In the first half Hendrik Van Crombrugge had to hold Anderlecht twice, but after half time the keeper had to turn twice. Luiz Araujo scored twice in four minutes, early in the second half. Anderlecht could not make up for that backlog.
