After Antwerp, Brussels is also gradually turning redder. Today, the alert threshold has been exceeded in fifteen of the nineteen Brussels municipalities.

Since Thursday, the list of Brussels municipalities above the alarm threshold of twenty new infections per 100,000 inhabitants has grown significantly.

In recent days, the number of new infections increased in Sint-Gillis (60), Sint-Joost-ten-Node (47), Ganshoren (44), Vorst (41), Sint-Agatha-Berchem (32), Jette (30 ), Ixelles (29), Schaerbeek (29), Molenbeek-Saint-Jean (29), Koekelberg (27), Brussels City (26), Evere (26), Uccle (25), Auderghem (24) and Anderlecht ( 21).

Today only four municipalities are outside the danger zone: Watermael-Boitsfort (12), Woluwe-Saint-Pierre (10), Woluwe-Saint-Lambert (19) and Etterbeek (12).

Sint-Gillis and Sint-Joost-ten-Node are also in the top fifty hardest-hit Belgian cities (which are still headed by the city of Antwerp, with 180 new infections out of 100,000), although it is Brussels City which in absolute figures most infections count, with 47 infections in the past seven days.
