A similar incident occurred about six months earlier, when police opened an investigation against a couple of parents, after their one-year-old baby daughter was brought to the hospital in critical condition, and tests revealed suspected drug inventions in her body. Police investigators arrived at the scene, opened an investigation and detained her father, a resident of East Jerusalem, and at the same time conducted a search of his home.
