A 19-year-old man was stabbed to death at a factory in Lod; Two suspects were arrested


Muhammad Amin Abu Riash, a 19-year-old man, was stabbed to death today (Friday) during his work at a factory in Lod. He was taken to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in a critical condition, where he was pronounced dead. Police have arrested two Rahat residents, a 16-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man, on suspicion of involvement in the young man’s murder. They were arrested in Rahat and taken for questioning at the Lod police station.

Last night, a 29-year-old man was moderately injured, apparently during a brawl on Route 31, near the Nevatim Interchange. MDA teams provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, with injuries to his body.

An indictment was filed yesterday against two family members from Kisra in the Galilee, for the murder of the village’s resident, Najib Abdullah, 32. According to the indictment filed in the Haifa District Court, the two murdered the man on June 28, near the monument of the Druze warrior between the villages of Kasra and Samia, amid a rumor that he was turning and winking at their relative, a 20-year-old woman, as he passed by.
