A 10-year-old boy was found today (Sunday) unconscious in a private home in Yavne. MDA medics and paramedics who were called to the scene gave him first aid and evacuated him to Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot, in critical condition and undergoing resuscitation.

According to the report, the child is in a critical condition in the shower and the circumstances of the incident have not yet been clarified. Checked to see if he slipped in the shower and apparently the shower hose was wrapped around his neck. MDA paramedic Mor Levy said: “When we arrived at the scene, we were led into one of the rooms in the house. “We saw a child unconscious without a pulse and breathing and we immediately started performing advanced resuscitation operations.”
Levy added: “We provided him with treatment that included massages, resuscitation and medication. When his pulse returned we transferred him to the intensive care unit and evacuated him to Kaplan Hospital in critical condition while continuing life-saving medical treatment.”
