Twenty children in Germany injured by shock reaction to horses Abroad


It happened on Tuesday at the town of Annweiler in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The children between 10 and 14 years old were traveling with a companion on the horses in the forest when the animals suddenly startled and made violent movements and the children were thrown out of the saddle.

Two girls were so badly injured that they were taken to hospital with trauma relief. Two other children and the supervisor were also seriously injured, while the rest of the children were slightly injured.

It is not clear what frightened the horses.
