A shock of magnitude 2.7 hit the Tuscany region in the province of Arezzo. The epicenter was recorded one kilometer away from Pieve Santo Stefano at 4:28 pm. This is the second aftershock in the afternoon, after the first had occurred at 2:28 pm.

On June 29, 1919, a shock of magnitude 6.2 on the Mercalli scale hit the area of ​​the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The first shocks, the inhabitants warned them in the early hours of the morning. The epicenter was registered in the country of Vicchio.

The toll was unfortunately dramatic. In fact, more than one hundred people died and more than four hundred were injured. The damage in the area was very serious. Over seven hundred houses were completely destroyed, while another five hundred had to be declared unfit for use. The village of San Lorenzo suffered serious damage. Here in fact almost all the houses were later declared unfit for use. In Dicomano even the famous Clock Tower collapsed.
