Owners Tim Sparv told Expressen that he had already been contacted by the Allsvenskan teams.
Finland men’s national football team captain Tim Sparv told the Swedish newspaper In an interview with Expressenthat the next stage of his career may be found in the Swedish main series Allsvenskan.
– I have nothing against Sweden and Allsvenskan. It’s definitely interesting (an option), Sparv told the magazine.
According to the owl captain, some Allsvenskan teams have already contacted him. However, Sparv did not disclose the teams.
For the past six seasons, Sparv has represented the Danish club Midtjylland, where he won three Danish championships. Midtjylland said on Tuesday that Sparv will leave the club.
Danish and Swedish leagues are generally considered to be fairly equal series. Sparv said he followed Allsvenskani from time to time, but could not make an accurate estimate of the league level.
Sparv said the European Championships postponed to next summer will also affect his choice of club. The Finnish men’s value debut is a great source of motivation for the national team captain.
– That (European Championship venue) is something that motivates me every day. Do not assume that I am involved in the team just because I am now the captain. I’m going to do everything I can so that I am prepared for the races as much as possible.
Sparv, 33, from Ostrobothnia, has represented Southampton, Halmstad, VPS, Groningen, Greuther Fürth and Central Jutland in his career.
