The special reading is signed together by the Council of Torah Scholars of Degel HaTorah, the Council of Torah Scholars of the Shas movement and the Council of Torah Scholars of Agudat Yisrael.
“As the virus spreads and many of our brethren the children of Israel need medicine,” it read at the beginning of the reading,
The members of the councils add: “Therefore we are calling on our brethren Beit Yisrael in all places of their colonies to cry out and pray before the Creator of the world, each according to his custom on Tuesday the 29th of the month of Tammuz, Arach Menachem Av HaBalat.”

“And may Gd hear our cry and all the sick be healed, and the healthy will not begin and we will have imminent salvation,” the rabbis and rebbe, members of the councils of great men and sages of the Torah, sign.
Alongside this, the Rebbe of the Torah, Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, and the Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Gershon Edelstein, are announcing a call to petition tomorrow for a small Yom Kippur prayer and recitation of the Psalms.
“Our Father, our King, prevented an epidemic from your inheritance,” it was written at the beginning of the reading, “In the opinion of our rabbis, The psalms of Psalms, for the healing of the sick of our people and for the healthy that will not begin, and will no longer hear robbery and breaking in our border. “
