The Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, announced on Tuesday July 21 that the free distribution of masks “intended for the precarious public” would be relaunched.
After the deconfinement, “it was important that all our fellow citizens have access” masks and that “those who cannot afford to buy a so-called general public mask are helped”, Emmanuel Macron said a few hours later. “The State, and the French taxpayer, is not intended to pay for masks for everyone, all the time. It must remain a social policy”, also estimated the head of state.
Will the purchase of fabric or surgical masks weigh heavily on your budget? Have you already reduced your lifestyle or given up certain purchases to be able to afford masks? Or are you forced to reuse previously worn masks? Tell us how you plan to do it.
