The six men who were arrested last weekend for involvement in a kidnapping in Amsterdam may be brought before the examining magistrate on Wednesday. All suspects are still in restrictions, so they can only have contact with their lawyer.
The victim was kidnapped Saturday afternoon in Amsterdam West. The following night, the police tracked down two cars.
In Marnixstraat, one of those cars was jammed by an arrest team. The kidnapped man was in the car, he could be freed. Three other occupants were arrested.
The second car was also forced to stop on the Lijnbaansgracht, near the police station. Three occupants were arrested.
The kidnapping victim was not injured. As part of the ongoing investigation, the police are unable to release any more information.
