Silvan Dillier has to pass Strade Bianche. The 29-year-old Swiss has tested positive for the coronavirus twice before he traveled to Italy, according to Blick. The AG2R La Mondiale rider must now be quarantined for ten days. The French formation therefore starts with only six riders.
“I’m mentally exhausted,” said Dillier, who says he has no symptoms. “I am the healthiest person on the planet. The last few days I have had several tests and all of them are negative. Even with a blood test, all values were good. ”
The frustrated Dillier is full of misunderstanding. “I can’t light anyone anymore,” he says. “The entire health system is a big joke. In my opinion, it is on the verge of locking up healthy people, ”he says. “It’s just not right.”
His wife and colleagues are said to have tested negative for the virus. Nevertheless, Dillier now has to quarantine with his family as a precaution. A proposed performance in the Tour of Poland – which kicks off next Wednesday – also seems to have been canceled. It is unknown when he can participate in competitions again.
