“There are no hackers working for the Russian government, so our government does not take into account any hacker’s actions and does not coordinate them,” he said.
He added that the Russian side did not give any hackers tasks to access the websites of foreign pharmaceutical companies.
Siluanov stressed that Russia is not interested in the development of other countries on a vaccine against coronavirus, since it is creating its own vaccine.
Earlier, the National Cybersecurity Center of Great Britain announced that hackers “involved in the Russian special services” allegedly “attacked various organizations involved in the development of a vaccine against COVID-19 in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.”
The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev, said that Russia does not need to “steal” the development of vaccines against coronavirus in Britain.
