Lopez’s team held for a while, then scored Fazio, Kalinic and the rediscovered yellow-gold jewel, who entered the field for 7 minutes. Cross and pole of Dzeko
Roma are without the disqualified Mkhitaryan and Cristante, with Dzeko starting from the bench by technical choice. Just like Pau Lopez, to whom Fonseca prefers Mirante to defend the Giallorossi goal. Lopez also leaves out his number one, Joronen, but not out of technical choice but out of necessity, given that the Finn has to surrender to a muscle problem during the warm-up (on the field Andrenacci goes, the second appearance in Serie A). Donnarumma also rested, with Brescia opting for a 4-5-1, with Torregrossa only striker and Spalek and Skrabb in his support. At the center of Roma’s three-way defense is Ibanez instead of Fazio, but the Brazilian’s departure is creepy, with two errors that immediately give Torregrossa as many chances. Then Roma settle down and try to make themselves dangerous with Veretout from outside. On the right Bruno Peres pushes well, with the Giallorossi trying to pass by taking advantage of the many high balls. But Kalinic often shoots blanks and then the most propitious opportunity comes with a closing in extremis of Chancellor who risks the own goal, but Andrenacci is good with a stroke of kidneys to save his. The game is essentially made by Roma, even if the territorial supremacy of the Fonseca team is sterile. Carles Perez has a good chance from outside, Kolarov commits Andrenacci on a free kick. But at rest we go on 0-0, without big jolts.
Yellow and red tear
Lopez tries to change the inertia by sending Dessena and Zmrhal in place of Ndoj and Skrabb, but after just 3 ‘of the second half Rome takes the lead: Veretout’s corner, Brescia’s defensive mess, with Fazio taking advantage of it to kick and Andrenacci that makes a half duck. In the 9th minute, always on a corner, it is Brescia who touches the goal with Mangraviti, with Lopez who immediately plays the Donnarumma card (instead of Bjarnason). Brescia then protested for a couple of interventions in the Ibanez and Fazio area for which he would like the penalty, but at 17 ‘Roma put the win on the icebox with Carles Perez who fishes well Kalinic, who cuts centrally from behind and burns Andrenacci from a few steps. At 25 ‘from the end, a swirl of changes: inside Zaniolo, Villar and Perotti and outside Pellegrini, Perez and Veretout. Kalinic tries the shot in reverse, Zaniolo in the 29th minute makes 3-0: verticalization of Perotti, with the yellow and red outside folding his hands to Andrenacci, once again not free from blame. Then Torregrossa has the ball for the goal of the flag, but kicks on Mirante from a few steps. On the other hand, however, Dzeko (who has just taken over) hits first the crossbar and then the post, touching the 4-0 twice. It ends like this, with some final spark between Dessena and Zaniolo.
