It can be published now, after an intensive investigation and with the removal of the restraining order, that the Israeli police deciphered the double murder case in Dalit al-Carmel, during which two residents of Isfiya – Ofer Abu Saada and Carlos Abu Tamimi, were shot to death while sitting in the car near the policeman’s square. .
The investigation began on 08/05/20, upon receipt of a report at Hotline 100 around 11:30 PM regarding a shooting incident in Dalit al-Carmel, in which 2 occupants of a vehicle near the policeman’s square were shot by unknown individuals who fled the scene in a vehicle, when medical officials were called to determine Their deaths on the spot.
Meanwhile, Coastal Police investigators conducted a complex investigation, with the help of the police station in the Carmel ridge, while conducting various investigative exercises and gathering information by various technological means, along with comprehensive forensic work inside and outside the arena, all of which resulted in the murder and arrest of the resident on suspicion of involvement.

According to the suspicion, when the victims stopped with their vehicle near a store in the area of the policeman’s square, fire was opened at them by the suspect who fled the scene in a Mazda vehicle, which was later burned in a forest near the city of Nesher.
It should be noted that during the investigation, the IDF investigators analyzed the documentation findings at the scene and the escape route of the suspect and noticed that the vehicle involved was in fact a stolen vehicle from 2019 “worn” with “duplicate” license plates identical to the original vehicle’s license plate.
As stated, at the end of the investigation, the findings were collected that enabled this morning the filing of the plaintiff’s statement against the suspect – a 32-year-old resident of Isfiya, and in the coming days an indictment will be filed by the Haifa District Attorney and a request for detention until the end of the proceedings.
