A case of positivity at Covid-19 was highlighted by exams at Parma Calcio. It is the club itself that communicates it on its official website, explaining that it is a “member (not a footballer) of the team group”, completely asymptomatic and readily isolated according to federal and ministerial directives. All the others were negative and started isolation in the sports center, but “they will be able to continue the activity regularly, constantly monitored according to the current protocol”.
And now what happens?
One of the staff, in this case, is considered to be an injured player. Tomorrow against Bologna the whole team (including staff) will be subjected to a rapid buffer. If there are any positives, they will be isolated and obviously not playing. Those who prove negative can take the field. At the end of the race, all will return to quarantine until the end of the race, under active daily surveillance by the public health operator of the competent competent Prevention Department. This, in fact, according to protocol, that is, with the rest of the group in isolation in the Collecchio sports center – with separate rooms and single-portion lunch – for a period of two weeks in which it will be under constant monitoring. Parma in the meantime will be able to regularly play in the league: the players and the negative staff at Covid-19 will leave the sports center only to go to play the scheduled games.
D’Aversa: “The important thing is that he is fine”
«A case of positivity came out, but luckily the person is asymptomatic. The important thing is that she is well. ” This is the comment by Parma 1913 coach Roberto D’Aversa to the news of a new case of coronavirus in the whole of the Emilia club.
D’Aversa, however, says he is calm for the future. “Now we will follow the protocol – he explained – We will carry out tampons, we will remain in retreat and then we will see”.
