According to PAM, store managers, visualists and department managers now continue to be full-time employees.

The clothing store H&M will lay off 50 employees and part-time all its full-time salespeople, says the Service Industry Trade Union PAM in its press release.

The co-operation negotiations that ended on 12 July involved all of H & M’s 1,300 employees in Finland, with the exception of store managers.

According to PAM, store managers, visualists and department managers now continue to be full-time employees.

According to the union, the job titles of the employees were also abolished, and the number of contract hours was reduced for some employees.

At the beginning of the co-determination negotiations, H&M announced the need to lay off a maximum of 250 employees.

BTI has not reached an H&M representative to comment on the redundancies.
