Anderlecht has so far remained relatively calm on the transfer market this summer and attracted two reinforcements with Ilias Takidine (KRC Genk) and Timon Wellenreuther (Willem II). Both also came over for free. So no heavy investments, that Anderlecht has so far saved for the players who already have it in their ranks.
After all, the club has already distributed a number of contract extensions in recent months. Killian Sardella, Marco Kana, Francis Amuzu and a few days ago Antoine Colassin were all allowed to sign a new agreement. Anderlecht therefore continues to have confidence in his youth and so it should not be surprising that the next contract extension is already imminent.
According to The last hour Yari Verschaeren will also quickly sign a new commitment. The 19-year-old Red Devil is still under contract until 2022, but there will be a few more years there.
POLL: Should Verschaeren fear for his starting spot this season?
