Minor increase in the price of fuel – economy

The corona crisis continues to affect world fuel prices, and this coming Saturday night at midnight the price of fuel will rise by only a minimal percentage.

The Ministry of Energy announced this morning (Thursday) that the maximum price for a liter of unleaded 95-octane gasoline per consumer at a self-service station (including VAT) will not exceed NIS 5.45 per liter starting Saturday night, an increase of one penny compared to the previous month.

The supplement for full service at gas stations throughout the country will be 21 cents per liter (including VAT), unchanged from the previous month.

The maximum price per liter of unleaded 95-octane gasoline for a consumer at a self-service station in Eilat (excluding VAT) will not exceed NIS 4.66 per liter, an increase of one penny compared to the previous month.

The supplement for full service at gas stations in Eilat will be 18 cents per liter (excluding VAT), unchanged from the previous month.

Following the update, the tax component (excise and VAT) will be 71% of the price of self-service fuel. The fuel price component will be 19% and an additional 10% will be paid for the marketing expenses basket.
