Barcelona, who played the match with calm nerves after losing the La Liga title that he won in the past two seasons since the last stage, ended his career this season in second place by arranging the competition with 82 points, while Alaves finished 16th with 39 points.
Anso Fati opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 24th minute, before Argentine magician Lionel Messi added the second goal in the 34th minute, and Luis Suárez followed him with the third goal in the 44th minute.
Nelson Simedo added the fourth goal for Barcelona in the 58th minute, before Messi concluded the Goals Festival by scoring the fifth goal for the guests and his second personal goal in the 75th minute.
Messi strengthened his lead in the tournament’s top scorer this season, after he raised his score to 25 goals.
