EU parliamentarians are calling for the multiannual budget adopted at the EU summit over the weekend to be improved. Parliament does not intend to “act as a rubber stamp on what has already been agreed,” the parliamentary statement said.
Parliament insists that the proposed cuts to future-oriented programs should not be implemented. MPs believe the cuts will undermine the foundations for a sustainable and resilient recovery.
