FABIA – The small car Fabia Fabia adopts the renewed 1.0 3-cylinder petrol, in the 60 HP MPI aspirated version or the 95 HP TSI turbo. The 1.0 MPI has a 5-speed manual transmission; for the 1.0 TSI there are the same 5-speed manual or the robotic double clutch DSG 7-speed, not available for the previous edition. Unprecedented 16 ”and 17” wheels make their debut, the steering wheel changes, the climate is enhanced with the activated carbon filter (retains more impurities from the outside) and the updated version of the Kessy system arrives for access on board without a key, more effective against attempted theft.
SCALA AND KAMIQ – For the compact sedan Skoda Scala and the crossover Skoda Kamiq, based on the same platform, there is the 1.0 TSI in the 95 HP version and in the 110 HP version, which replaces the previous 115 HP version. Petrol also includes the 150 HP 1.5 TSI turbocharged 4-cylinder, in addition to the 90 HP 1.0 1.0 methane-powered. New 17 ”wheels can be ordered and the renewed Kessy debuts. For the Kamiq comes the Scoutline crossover set-up, with unpainted plastic protections for the bodywork.
KAROQ – The suv Skoda Karoq earns the 110 bhp 1.0 TSI and the updated Evo version 2.0 TDI, which receives a new SCR catalyst, capable of reducing nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 80%. The less powerful version has 115 HP and replaces the 1.6 TDI of equal power, but there are also those with 150 HP or 200 HP. For the S-Tech, Scout and Sportline versions there are the steering wheel and heated seats.
KODIAQ – For the biggest SUV Skoda Kodiaq the 1.5 TSI 150 HP, combined with a new 6-speed manual transmission, and the 2.0 TDI Evo are available. The equipment is enhanced by the advanced adaptive speed regulator: it takes into account not only the safety distance from the vehicle in front, but also the current speed limit.
SUPERB – The 2021 edition of the Skoda Superb it also receives the 2.0 TDI Evo, in the 122 HP versions (replaces the 120 HP 1.6 TDI), 150 HP and 200 HP. The advanced adaptive speed regulator and parking cameras with perimeter vision arrive: by combining the images taken by the 4 cameras, the screen in the console shows the entire area around the car.
NEW INFOTAINMENT – The Skoda Karoq, Kodiaq and Superb 2021 they also update on board technology, because they receive the multimedia systems third generation, connected to the internet via a sim card and equipped with new features, including apps for receiving updates in real time, internet radio and wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The new multimedia systems are available in versions Bolero, with 8 “screen; Amundsen, with 8 ”screen and greater functionality; is Columbus, with 9.2 “screen and additional functions. The Amundsen and Columbus are able to “dialogue” with a cloud, where the graphics of the digital dashboard, the color of the internal LED lighting system and the settings of the automatic climate, the electric seats (if present) and the mirrors are saved . After creating a user profile, the driver can find the personalizations as soon as he gets on another Skoda with the two systems mentioned. There is also the Swing version, with a 6.5 “screen and the previous generation multimedia system.
If equipped with the Bolero, Amundsen and Columbus systems, the Skoda Karoq, Kodiaq and Superb 2021 can have thevoice assistant Laura and USB Type-C ports, suitable for the power cables of the latest smartphones. A USB C port is also present above the rear view mirror: it serves to power the dash cam, the camera to take the road and have a video testimony in case of an accident. In addition, with the 2021 edition, the Kodiaq receives a more advanced speed regulator: it takes into account not only the safety distance from the vehicle in front, but also the current speed limit.
