Alfa Romeo’s time trial in Hungary was sad.
Alfa Romeon Kimi Raikkonen was last in Hungarian F1 time. He will start tomorrow’s race at the Hungaroring from the 20th starting box.
The Finn didn’t bother much in the post-time trial interview on C More.
– We really aren’t where we want to be. We also do no service to ourselves in certain matters, Räikkönen contented himself with commenting.
His teammate Antonio Giovinazzi missed the second to last time trial session and thus completes Alfa Romeo’s last starting line in tomorrow’s race.
– We need to do things better and develop, Räikkönen said.
Räikkönen drove only two drills in Hungary before the time trials. The Swiss stable was driven by a test driver in Friday’s first practice Robert Kubicaa On Räikkönen’s farm.
The early season has been sad for Alfa Romeo. Giovinazzi was able to collect two World Championship points from two races in Austria. Räikkönen doesn’t have any points yet.
“Iceman” suspended the first race and finished 11th last Sunday in the Red Bull Ring.
