Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will include microtransactions, according to the details reported on the game page on the Xbox Store, but the development team has denied this news.
Featuring a campaign that will include over 100 levels, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will resume events exactly where we left them with the third episode.
The feeling expressed by the user who highlighted the issue of microtransactions is that Activision aims to monetize on skin and, in general, the cosmetic items, as some of them are included as a preorder bonus.
However, as mentioned, the Toys for Bob development team wanted to deny the news: “We are seeing confusion around the microtransactions in Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and we want to be clear,” they wrote on Twitter.
“There are no microtransactions in the game,” stressed the developers. “As a bonus, the skins from the Totally Tubular package are included in all digital versions of the title.”
