The spokesman for the Republican spokesman denied the comments, even though they were presented in a public place in the presence of the journalist.
In the United States, a Republican in the House of Representatives Ted Yoho has come under public criticism after he had sexually insulted a Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortezia on the steps of the congress building.
Yoho is said to have insulted the rising star of the Democrats as “disgusting” and “bitch.” The exchange was witnessed by the political online magazine The Hillin supplier.
Although Yoho made his comments in a public place in the presence of a journalist, his spokesman later denied that Yoho had insulted the Democrat.
– He did not call Representative Ocasio-Cortez by the names reported in The Hill, or by any other name. As he walked away, he briefly commented to himself on what he believed (Ocasio-Cortez) politics to be: horse shit, the spokesman said.
Ocasio-Cortez himself confirmed that the information was correct.
– I had never spoken to Yoho before he decided to address me aggressively on the stairs of the Capitol building yesterday. Believe it or not, I usually get along well with my Republican colleagues, the spokesman said on Twitter Tuesday.
– But hey, “bitches” get things done, he continued.
Majority leader of the Democratic House of Representatives The wallsHoyer condemned Yoho’s actions as “contemptuous.”
