Saartje Vandendriessche experienced a tragic event in 2018. Her ex-boyfriend Thomas took her own life and that of course deeply cut the presenter. Thanks to meditation, Saartje climbed little by little from a deep well.
Not a day goes by that Saartje does not meditate. “Just like cycling and jogging, I know I need it,” she says in an interview with Gazet van Antwerpen.
“Every day at 6.30am. I really can’t live without it. It enhances my happiness, my worries, my grief. I can also put things better through it. ”
“I still had huge crying spells about my ex-boyfriend who took his own life in 2018,” Saartje admits honestly.
“The grief came over me again and unexpectedly like a shadow, I had no control over it. Since I started transcendental meditation, it has completely subsided. ”
