The game, originally released in the first quarter of 2017 on PS4, immediately gained the right attention from critics and the public, so much so that on the occasion of the recent reveal of the PS5 games, the official sequel was shown for the first time, called Horizon II: Forbidden West.
Now, via Epic Games Store, some users have noticed a detail that has not escaped even the experts: the Zero Dawn logo has been changed.
The reason is easy to say: just below the word Horizon it is possible to notice an “I”, in line with the “II” viewable in the official key art of Forbidden West. It is therefore a small but fundamental clarification decided by Sony, so that the clear and unequivocal message that the game arriving on PC is the first chapter of the Guerrilla saga (and not the sequel currently in progress) passes.
A little below, moreover, you can see a comparison of the old logo with the brand new one published only a few hours ago.
We also remind you that the PC version will be offered at the list price of 49.99 euros, and will allow you to purchase the Complete Edition in a digital version, within which you will have access to all the contents previously published on the occasion of the game’s release on the PlayStation 4 console.
But not only that: about an hour after the announcement of the release date of the PC edition, Horizon: Zero Dawn is already the best selling on Steam, dethroning games of the caliber of DOOM Eternal and many others.
The return of Aloy to PC is scheduled for August 7, 2020. Horizon II: Forbidden West it is instead expected to be exclusively exclusive on PS5 consoles during 2021.
If you want to play or replay Horizon: Zero Dawn, you can buy the full edition at a very low price and play it on PS4, waiting for the official sequel.
