There will be a flight from Helsinki to Shanghai once a week from Thursday.
Finnair will start its flight from Helsinki to Shanghai, China on July 23, the airline informs.
Finnair has received permission from the Chinese authorities to start weekly flights between Helsinki and Shanghai. Finnair flies to China once a week on an Airbus A350 aircraft.
The liberalization of work-related and other necessary travel from China to Finland is still awaiting an EU-level decision on the implementation of reciprocity. Finland Abroad website according to which Finland has allowed commuting and other necessary traffic from China 13.7. but confirmation from the EU is still expected.

He hopes the airline will soon be able to increase flights to China.
In July, Finnair will fly 80-90 flights a day to more than 30 destinations, and will add destinations and routes to its traffic program in August-September.
The traffic program is updated weekly according to demand, and Finnair is ready to increase flights quickly even when travel restrictions are lifted and tourism demand recovers. Freight demand to Asia also supports the launch of long-haul flights.
