Director Guy Ritchie should not be behind the wheel for the next six months. British director has been banned from driving for six months after he was previously found using his phone in the car, reports Daily Mail Thursday.
Ritchie was spotted in November 2019 sending messages on his phone behind the wheel. The incident happened when Ritchie was in slow traffic in Hyde Park, London. A cyclist known for filming motorists who break the law confronted the director and passed the footage on to the authorities.
Since Ritchie already had points on his driver’s license due to previous violations, he has been banned from driving for six months. The director previously informed his lawyer that he had indeed broken the law and that he would not challenge the judge’s ruling.
Ritchie has directed films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch in RocknRolla. His latest film was released earlier this year The Gentlemen in the cinema.
