Two days after launch, Death Stranding by Kojima Productions is already first in the ranking global of Steam. Apparently there is great anticipation among the PC players for the game of Kojima Productions, which like other titles could find a new life on the Valve platform.
Steam has represented a great source of income (and players) for titles such as RARE and Microsoft’s Sea of Thieves, and now it could be the right place to relaunch Death Stranding, which has produced profits on PS4, but according to some rumors it had a moderate success (not at the level of other exclusive consoles).
A PC port such as Death Stranding is particularly convenient for the developer and publisher, because in the face of low development costs, sales can lead to reaching the break-even point much faster than on consoles (or, in general, on the platform from). We will see after the launch how much will remain in the top positions of the ranking. Let’s read the official description of the game:
From the legendary author Hideo Kojima, here is the brand new game experience that challenges every definition of genre.
Sam Bridges faces a world completely transformed by Death Stranding. Transporting the disconnected fragments of our future, he has to go on a journey to rebuild, step by step, the world that has been shattered.
With the participation of Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux and Lindsay Wagner.
Additional PC features include HIGH FRAME RATE, PHOTO MODE and ULTRA-WIDE MONITOR SUPPORT. Also includes Valve Corporation’s HALF-LIFE series content.
